Yet another sketch: someone gets to meet her idol and they have a misunderstanding. It happens.

I’m currently in the throes of an 80’s music fixation. So, this song is an attempt at the dream pop of the time. I’m also a little under the weather, and I hardly rehearsed the song before committing it to tape. Ergo, the heavily processed vocal to (attempt to) disguise all the bum notes I was hitting. Succeeded?

This is probably one of the most derivative songs I’ve ever written. But it’s based on a true story (not mine, Thank God/dess). Look for it to be played at a nu-country music station near you. Or not.

Guitar’s kinda wack, and I’m still experimenting with the harmonies on this, but hope you like

Having a field day being my usual electronic self in this project; I was going to call this song “Message to Rupert Murdoch”, but I figured the Rosebud connection made the point clear enough as it was.
