Lost Everline

Lyrics

My last two songs on this challenge were inspired by two ex-co-workers of mine. This one was a doozie

John, What The Hell Were You Thinking?

Lyrics

Because I still have an ax to grind – this is a preliminary mix; I may change it before submitting, as the pitch may be a bit too high for me to deal.  but we’ll see.  Hope you enjoy

Lyrics

Yet another sketch: someone gets to meet her idol and they have a misunderstanding. It happens.

Hurry Up and Dream

Lyrics

I’m currently in the throes of an 80’s music fixation.  So, this song is an attempt at the dream pop of the time.  I’m also a little under the weather, and I hardly rehearsed the song before committing it to tape.  Ergo, the heavily processed vocal to (attempt to) disguise all the bum notes I was hitting.  Succeeded?

How Badly Do You Need A Lover

Lyrics

This is probably one of the most derivative songs I’ve ever written. But it’s based on a true story (not mine, Thank God/dess). Look for it to be played at a nu-country music station near you. Or not.

Too Many Ghosts

Lyrics

Guitar’s kinda wack, and I’m  still experimenting with the harmonies on this, but hope you like

Mythical Haters

Lyrics

A song about internet trolls.  Sorry about the lame guitar…

Back To Aromas

Lyrics

Back in August 2oo1, my life changed.  Here’s a song about it.  Sorry for the bad vocals.  Didn’t want to wake anyone else in the house.

Rosebud Came A Dreamin’

Lyrics

Having a field day being my usual electronic self in this project; I was going to call this song “Message to Rupert Murdoch”, but I figured the Rosebud connection made the point clear enough as it was.

This song is the 2nd single release off of Helen’s CD “Monochrome In Technicolor”.  Mastered by Jim Maxon.
